CAJUN TUNA

CAJUN TUNA WITH FRESH PAW-PAW SALAD

What you need:

Fresh Tuna, 1 steak per person (about 200grs p/person)

For the Cajun spice

2 tablespoons paprika

1 tablespoon black peppercorns ground

2 tablespoons dried oregano

Pinch of salt

2 tablespoons onion flakes

1 red devil chilli (optional)

For the paw-paw

1 green or unripe paw-paw finely grated

1 small onion finely grated

1 chilli finely grated

Sugar to taste

Lime juice to taste

HOW TO PREPARE:

Mix all paw-paw Salad ingredients together and leave in fridge until ready to serve

Pound all Cajun Spice ingredients together. If you like it super hot add one little devil chilli into the mixture. Pat the tuna steak with the Cajun spice.

Spray the tuna steak with olive oil spray. Spray a griddle pan with olive oil and heat over very high heat. Sear the tuna for a minute on each side. Cook it as you like it. Squeeze the juice of a quarter lemon on each steak. Place on a plate with a portion of a green salad. Garnish with lemon wedges and serve
